Prof. Dr. İsmail Koçak

Invitation Message

"The human voice… is not only a sound. It's emotion, identity, and the essence of who we are."

I am Prof. Dr. İsmail Koçak as a member of Istanbul Laryngology Study Group (ILSG)— invite you to an exclusive online journey into Advanced Phonosurgery.

We will explore refined microlaryngeal techniques — from precision laser surgery to vocal fold suturing and gas glottoplasty.

We'll discuss voice feminization, deepening and masculinization, and how to manage the most challenging voices.

Each week combines theoretical sessions and live surgeriesevery Saturday, May through June. With a balanced East and West time-zones, surgeons worldwide can join and share the art and science of the human voice.

Join me for the Online Course of Advanced Phonosurgery — and let's redefine the future of voice.

  • Microsuturing strategies in a previously damaged or fibrotic fold.
  • Intraoperative assessment of vibratory potential and immediate adjustment of the plan.

What Participants Will Obtain

  • Real-world view of a regenerative phonosurgery case from laryngoscopy to closure.
  • Practical tips on gas use, PRP handling and injection, and fine suturing in compromised tissue.
  • Strategies to minimize scarring and stiffness after intervention.
  • A reproducible mental checklist for planning and executing regenerative sulcus surgery.

Theory · Asia-Friendly

Session Content (Feminization Theory)

  • Acoustic and psychoacoustic markers of feminine voice: pitch, formants, resonance focus and timbre.
  • Laser Reduction Glottoplasty (LRG): indications, anatomy, web geometry and safety limits.
  • Wendler glottoplasty: microflap design, suture strategy and airway considerations.
